Transformative Overhaul: Redefining Recognition Program that cultivates Core Values in actions and behaviours of its employees
Problem Statement
One of our budding start-up client, wanted to revamp their recognition program to:
- Reinforce and celebrate behaviours & actions that embody their core values
- Promote a feeling of camaraderie, inclusion and instil a sense of significance amongst employees.
Approach & Solution: We took ownership from end-to-end Strategy to Execution Excellence and delivered the project in 3 phases:
Phase 1: Insightful Collaboration:
We organized Focused Group discussions involving diverse stakeholders to pinpoint areas for enhancement and gather insights about the ongoing Recognition Program. Based on these discussions, we extracted the key themes for consideration:
- Develop a Recognition program which is aspirational, transparent and fair.
- Expand the categories of the recognition, along with wider coverage.
- Increase the frequency of the instances of recognition.
Phase 2: Program Design:
- Researched top industry recognition practices for a gold-standard strategy.
- Weaved the company’s unique values into our recognition blueprint, celebrating both team achievements and personal wins.
- Introduced more categories of recognition awards at an increased frequency to make it more aspirational and socially influential.
- Included high perceived monetary as well as non-monetary recognition including more experiential awards.
Phase 3: Implementation:
- Integrated state-of-the-art digital solutions for seamless recognition.
- Crafted a detailed launch and communication plan to socialise the program’s key features, benefits, and objectives to generate more interest.
Success: The new strategy significantly uplifted team spirit, fostered collaboration, and promoted value-aligned actions. The success of this initiative could be seen through:
